This is the exact reason why law exists and why it should always be followed correctly and EVERY PERSON given their due process rights - to prevent scumbags like this from finding a loophole and misusing the law for their own benefit. The lawsuit alleges there was “pressure from the then-President of the Republic Alan Garcia Perez” to have him extradited. The suit further argues that police in Chile denied van der Sloot access to a telephone or computer so he could communicate with his family and alleges he was “deprived of his right to counsel.”

today, I got lost while driving and actually appreciated it. there’s something about wandering aimlessly and not knowing where you are, not having to be anywhere, just alone with your thoughts, the road as your companion… moments like these remind me that isn’t all so bad. life is simple if we just take each moment by itself. i will stop planning. i promise to stop worrying. i can be free if i try to be - my mind will no more make a “heaven of hell and a hell of heaven” i will just… let it be.
The United Colors of Benetton campaign with world leaders kissing each other is tasteless and not something I ever wanted to picture, imagine, or see in my life. There are other ways to get your message across without unnecessarily sensationalizing things and going over the top.
They’re obviously just trying to become more fashionably relevant in a world where no one cares about their brand. But honestly, I wanted to throw up seeing those pictures.
